Nirmala Devi is new registrar of Telangana University

Hyderabad: Prof L. Nirmala Devi has been appointed as the registrar of Telangana University in Nizamabad, as per order issued by the varsity’s vice-chancellor D. Ravinder Gupta. She took charge from the in-charge registrar B. Vidyavardhini on Wednesday.

Following the orders of the High Court, the vice-chancellor has set aside the



appointment of Prof Yadagiri, who was elevated to the post by the executive council last month.

Nirmala Devi, whose terms will be for one year, was heading the electrical and communication engineering wing, from which she has been relieved by Osmania University authorities.
