Tamil Nadu schools are likely to remain closed considering the Covid-19 situation now, as per the state education minister’s tweet. Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan took to Twitter to say that there was no possibility of reopening schools in the current situation.
He said that Tamil Nadu schools would be reopened as per public opinion once the Covid-19 infection
cases reduced.
"In the present circumstances, there is no hope of reopening the schools. When Corona's infection is reduced, then the schools will be opened after getting public opinion,” the minister tweeted.
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs guidelines released for Unlock 3.0, schools, colleges and coaching institutes would all remain closed until August 31.
