The National Testing Agency, NTA, has expanded the list of examination cities for the National Eligibility Entrance Test, NEET UG 2024, by adding 14 new cities. According to the testing agency, candidates who have already submitted their NEET UG 2024 application forms will have the opportunity to modify their exam centres during the application correction window.
“Candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres will have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the correction window. The window will open after the registration window closes,’ read the official
notice.
NTA has announced that candidates residing in foreign countries will have the option to switch their exam centres to foreign cities during the NEET UG 2024 application correction period. However, these students will need to cover any price discrepancy when selecting their preferred centres, as stated by NTA.
For new candidates from foreign countries registering for NEET 2024, selecting exam centres will be straightforward, as they can directly choose their preferred exam city from a drop-down menu during the registration process.
When NTA eliminated foreign exam centres previously, it concurrently raised the total number of NEET UG 2024 exam centres to 554.
