NTA announces exam dates for UGC NET 2023

The National Testing Agency has announced the exam dates for UGC NET 2023. As per the National Testing Agency (NTA), the UGC- National Eligibility Test (NET) will be held from February 21 to March 10, 2023.

The registration process for the UGC NET 2023 exam has begun today. As per UGC Chairman, the registration process has started today, December 29, 2023. Candidates have to submit the UGC NET 2023 application form before 17 January 2023 up to 5 PM. 

To determine the suitability of the students for the post of assistant professor, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibilty Test (NET) from February 2023 to March 2023. The NTA is all set to held the exam for NET from February 23, 2023, to March 10, 2023. As per the



official notice, the NET exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. 

As per the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC has entrusted the NTA to conduct the UGC-NET in 83 subjects. According to the tweet of UGC Chairman the test will be held to determine the eligibility of students to become "Assistant Professor" and "Junior Research Fellowship" (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

"The NTA will conduct UGC-NET's December edition for JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor in 83 subjects in CBT mode. The online applications will be accepted from December 29 to January 17. The exam will be conducted from February 23 to March 10," University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said.
