NTA asks students to submit category certificates to apply for JEE Main 2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked all the students registering for the Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) Main 2021 to submit their examination forms along with the reserved category certificates through the online portal.

Apart from the increase in the number of attempts from next year, the submission of the category certificate is one of the new rules being implemented by NTA for JEE Main 2021. NTA has also issued a list of FAQs regarding the engineering entrance



exam.

Students who want to appear for the JEE Main 2021 exam have been facing problems because of this rule as some of them are unable to gather their category certificates due to the problems being caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Students who are not able to acquire their reserved category in time can also fill an undertaking form to self-declare their category status and confirm to submit required documents before May 2021, nearing the final attempt of the exam for the year.
