NTA NEET 2022 exam likely to be held at the end of June

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 exam date is expected to be announced soon, The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the exam date by March 10 on the official websites -- nta.ac.in and neet.nta.nic.in. Around 16 lakh students appear for NEET.

A council meeting was held last week wherein NTA was asked to work on the NEET exam schedule as per “its convenience”. NTA was asked to pick a date in the third or fourth week of June. The education ministry also presented NTA’s schedule for the various undergraduate exams to be held in the summer months.

NTA will also be conducting JEE Main 2022 and the CUCET exams from



April.

The NEET 2022 paper pattern would remain the same, it was decided in the meeting.

Candidates who want to get admitted in undergraduate medical, dental and other courses would be appearing for NEET 2022 in the pen and paper mode.

The single-day exam would be held in multiple languages.

As per reports, experts have suggested that the NEET exam date may be set for June 23 or 26.

Officials at the meeting said that NEET result should be declared by August and the counselling process should begin latest by September.

An official notice is likely to be released within seven to 10 days.
