As per the Supreme Court judgement, the Overseas Citizen of India/ Person of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) candidates are eligible to appear directly for JEE Advanced 2023 without appearing in JEE (Main) 2023. This measure will only be applicable for this year, informed IIT Guwahati.

Female Supernumerary Seats in the GEN and GEN-PWD categories.

A revision has been made to the fees for OCI/PIO candidates to make them comparable to those for Indian nationals.

As per the decision dated February 3, 2023 passed by the Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) 891 / 2021, the OCI/PIO candidates shall be considered as Indian nationals.
