In light of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in India Odisha state universities have decided to cancel all the UG and PG final year exams or final semester exams except for Medical, Paramedical, and Pharmacy courses. The results will be declared by August 2020 on the basis of an alternative evaluation method that would be adopted by universities and autonomous colleges.

Both theory and practical papers have been cancelled for Odisha UG and PG final-year students on the

basis of the decision taken by the Odisha higher education department keeping in mind the safety of students during this pandemic.

Earlier, Odisha had decided to conduct offline exams for college and university students between June and August.

In case students are not happy with their final year marks when it is released, they can choose to appear for a result improvement exam in November and the results for that exam will be declared in December 2020.
