Odisha Govt announces holiday for schools, colleges in view of PM's visit tomorrow

The government of Odisha has declared a holiday on September 17 for all schools and colleges in the capital Bhubaneswar in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Odisha tomorrow (September 17).

“All the schools and colleges in the Bhubaneswar metropolitan area will have a complete holiday on September 17th.” read the notification from the



CM’s office. PM Modi will be in the state to launch a Subhadra Yojana in the capital city on September 17.

“For this, there will be a huge public meeting in Bhubaneswar. In view of this, the state government has decided that all the schools and colleges of Bhubaneswar will be completely closed on that day and the government offices will be closed for the first half of the day,” added the notification.
