Only 562 from Osmania University region qualify for NET

Hyderabad, November 13, 2014 -  The poor show by students of the Osmania University regions  in the National Eligibility Test clear only 562 candidates in the examination. A total of 19,881 students applied for the examination from Osmania University of which 15,560 candidates appeared for the test which was conducted on June 29. The UGC  which oversees  the conduct of test released  the results on Tuesday.

Looking at the national figures , 3,682 candidates bagged IRF and 21,249 candidates cleared test for assistant professors posts.  The qualified candidates can apply for PSU's using the NET score.  Depending



on the score, jobs will be offered in fields like finance, human resource management, corporate communications etc.  

The e-certificates of qualified candidates were made available for downloading on the UGC website.  The candidates having any grievances with regard to answer key(s)  even after declaration of this result, may send a written request as per precribed proforma uploaded on the website, supporting their stand with proof from standard books / literature along with a Demand Draft of Rs.5,000/- drawn in favour of Secretary, University Grants Commission, within one month from the date of declaration of result, UGC said.
