The 71st All India Commerce Conference (AICA) will be organised in Osmania University from Thursday.
Management experts, economists and entrepreneurs will attend the three-day conference which will conclude on December 22. Addressing a press conference in the city on Tuesday, S Ramachandram, OU vice-chancellor said that the theme for the conference this year will be innovations, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. The OU faculty, in collaboration with the Indian Commerce Association is hosting the conference
and will have technical sessions on opportunities and implications, policies and practices and emerging dimensions in accounting.
Research papers will also be presented in the three-day conference which is likely to be inaugurated by TRS leader K T Rama Rao and former education minister Kadiyam Srihari.
Officials said that the purpose of hosting the conference is to bring parity in curriculum of commerce and management at the national level.
