Osmania University and State of Missouri, USA, will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer integrated UG and PG courses in both the universities as a collaborative effort.
A delegation comprising academicians and entrepreneurs from the State of Missouri, USA, on Tuesday visited OU and met Prof S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor, OU, to discuss the possibilities of academic exchange, entrepreneurship and setting up of business incubation. Dr. Joel G, Vice Chancellor, University of Missouri said that
imparting training to students on the ecosystems of entrepreneurship and cyber security was essential. It should be included in the curriculum, he said.
During the meeting, the details of dual courses at degree and PG level were also discussed and modalities for setting up of a Centenary Technology Incubator discussed.Deepak Vyas, Alumni of Osmania University, coordinated the team from USA and expressed his desire to institute Deepak Kant Vyas Scholarship for engineering student and centenary gold medal.
