OU undergraduate exams results declared

Girls outperformed boys in the Osmania University's undergraduate (UG) examinations, the results for which were declared on Wednesday .While the girls notched a pass percentage of 65.92%, boys managed to garner a mere 47.21%. The overall pass percentage of the varsity stood at 57.23%.

When it comes to streamwise performance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) emerged as the clear winner with a whopping 90.13% students clearing the exam, followed by Bachelor of Arts (BA) students with a pass percentage of 63.95%.

On the other hand, 56.20% of Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) students cleared the exam, while 53.14% students pursuing Bachelor of Science (BSc) made the cut.In the exams, which were conducted in March and April this year, a total of 1,28,967 candidates appeared for the degree second and third-year examination, of which 61,816 were boys and 67,151were girls.

“The provisional list



of students who have cleared the UG Annual 2017 examination has been uploaded on the varsity's website. After June 20, students can collect the memorandum of marks from their respective colleges,“ said S Ramachandram, vice-chancellor, OU after releasing the results.

Students wanting to apply for revaluation or for photocopies of answer sheet will have to apply before June 16 and June 30, respectively , Ramachandram said.

“Students are requested to approach any of the TS Online Centers for submission of their revaluation request along with the required fee and a copy of memointernet memo.Candidates wanting to apply for revaluation should apply separately without waiting for the photocopy of answer scripts,“ the OU VC.

For revaluation, students have to pay `250 per paper and to seek a photocopy of the answer sheet, they will need to shell out `1,000 per paper.
