OU valedictory function to be held on April 25

Osmania University on Friday said it would conduct the valedictory function of it’s centenary year on April 25.

A seminar on higher education has been organized on April 24, the inauguration of data centre and command control will be held as part of the closing ceremony on April 25, said S Ramachandram, OU vice-chancellor at a press meet.

The university also planned a special lunch for students followed by a walk by NCC cadets, lantern show and cultural programmes at Arts



college.

Addressing the media conference, Ramachandram highlighted various reforms and activities undertaken by the varsity during the centenary year. “From the next academic year, entrances will be conducted online. 

Massive open online courses will be introduced as part of curriculum in all faculties,” read the press release. The varsity also plans to introduce master in engineering course from ensuing academic year.
