Over 23,700 students have been admitted in Delhi University after the announcement of the first cut-off list.
An admission official said that last year there were only 6,000 admissions after the first cut-off list. The university announced its first cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses late Thursday night, with Hindu College pegging the highest score of 99 per
cent for Political Science Honours, a marginal increase over the last year.
This year, nearly 3,68,000 candidates have registered on the varsity's admission portal. The number of seats for undergraduate courses has increased to 62,000.
The second cut-off list for undergraduate courses will be announced tomorrow.
