Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas declared the results of Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) – 2016 here on Monday.
The test was conducted by NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) for admission to PG courses in colleges across A.P. and Telangana. Candidates from A.P. secured nine out of the top 10 ranks. Chunduri Venkata Viswa Vikranth (AMC, Visakhapatnam), Sumanth Koppolu (Guntur
Medical College), and Akella Sarala Divya (AMC) achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranks with 165, 162, and 160 marks respectively.
The test was conducted at 55 centres in A.P. and Telangana on February 28. In all, 13,252 candidates wrote the test and 8,658 of them qualified. The two States have 2,533 PG seats, including 1,873 under the convener quota and 660 at the disposal of managements.
