A fake notification claiming the NEET PG 2025 exam has been postponed to August 17 is doing the rounds on social media, but the government has stepped in to clarify—it’s completely false.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) issued a warning via its official fact check handle, stating that the viral postponement notice is fake. The National

Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), which conducts NEET PG, has not made any announcement about postponement.

PIB posted on X (formerly Twitter):

"A fake notification claims that NEET PG 2025 has been postponed to August 17. This claim is fake. The exam will be conducted on June 15, 2025, as announced earlier."
