Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his US visit and on Tuesday he met and interacted with a group of US academicians to discuss growth in the field of education and how to strengthen the education system in India with the help of skills and innovation.
PM Modi took to his Twitter handle and tweeted that he met with eminent scholars of the US to discuss the growth of the education sector and how, with a focus on skills and innovation, the education sector in India can be strengthened.
"In New York City, held an extensive interaction with a group of academics. They shared their views on how to further strengthen the education sector in India with a focus on skills and innovation. I talked about the transformative potential
of our National Education Policy."
With the academicians, PM Modi also discussed the transformative potential of the National Education policy.
He also met with a group of people associated with key think tanks. During his interaction with them, PM Modi talked about the different aspects of policy-making and emerging global trends. He also talked about the positive changes in the country powered by the youth.
