According to a statement released by the Prime Minister's office on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute nearly 71,000 appointment letters to newly hired employees via video conferencing on April 13.
This programme is part of the 'Rozgar Mela' initiative, which aims to provide employment to around 10 lakh people. The statement emphasised that the Prime Minister's commitment to giving top priority to employment generation is being fulfilled through this initiative.
The 'Rozgar Mela' campaign
is expected to act as a catalyst in generating further employment opportunities and empower youth to participate in national development.
The newly recruited employees will take up various positions in the central government, including train manager, station master, inspector, sub-inspector, constable, teacher, librarian, and nurse, among others.
Additionally, the new hires will have access to 'Karmayogi Prarambh', an online orientation program designed to train them for their roles in government departments.
