Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Dhekiajuli in Assam on February 7. During his visit to Assam, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for two medical colleges in Biswanath Charali and Charaideo.
Apart from laying the foundation stone for the two medical colleges, the Indian prime minister will also inaugurate the Assam government's road project 'Assam Mala' during his visit to Assam.
"On February 7, PM Narendra Modi will visit Dhekiajuli to lay the foundation of two medical colleges in Biswanath Charali and Charaideo.
He will also inaugurate the state government's road project 'Assam Mala'," said Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told ANI.
Two new medical colleges are being constructed in Assam as part of a new project with the objective of making higher education more accessible to the students in the state.
Apart from the medical colleges, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also laid the foundation stone for various Girls’ College in Nagaon. He said, “We are certain these would help create a more enabling environment for the children.”
