In a significant appointment, Preeti Sudan has been named the new Chairperson of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Sudan, a retired IAS officer of the 1983 batch
from the Andhra Pradesh cadre, brings extensive experience to her new role, having previously served in various capacities, including as Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
