President Droupadi Murmu to award 50 teachers with National Teachers Award on September 5

President Droupadi Murmu will honour 50 educators with the National Teachers Award 2024 to mark the National Teachers' Day celebration on September 5, 2024. This prestigious event will take place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, where President Droupadi Murmu will present the awards.

The National Teachers Award 2024 aims to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of educators who have made significant impacts on their students' lives and



the broader educational landscape in India. Recipients of this award will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a silver medal, and a certificate of appreciation.

The award is open to all educators from colleges, universities, higher educational institutions, and polytechnics across India. The selection process involves two stages: an initial screening by a preliminary search committee, followed by a final selection by a jury from the shortlisted candidates.
