After promoting students of classes 1 to 5 without exams, the Rajasthan government has also decided to promote RBSE students of classes 6 and 7 without exams. The decision has been taken in light of the rising Covid-19 cases in the state and around India.
Even though the students will not be appearing for any exams, they will be evaluated on the initiatives taken by state schools to teach online such as Social Media Interface for
Learning Engagement (SMILE), Smile-2, and Aao Ghar Se Sikhein.
The admission process for the next class will begin from April 15 onwards and those who moved schools in this time will be promoted to the next class in their new school. As per an official notice by RBSE, the enrolment process will be carried out accordingly.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) exams will be held for the board classes classes 8, 10 and 12.
