The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice concerning NEET PG Counseling 2023. This notice carries significant implications for candidates who have voluntarily resigned from their allotted seats.

The MCC had previously released a notice on September 12, 2023, addressing the issue of resignations by PG candidates who had secured seats through round 2 of state counselling. In response to numerous petitions, the MCC decided to allow resignations with forfeiture for the candidates' benefit.

To accommodate this decision, the MCC provided candidates with a specific window for resignation. From 10 am on September 13, 2023, until 3 pm on the same day, candidates could choose to resign and forfeit their security deposits.

The vacant seats resulting from these resignations were promptly integrated into the seat matrix for round 3. This step allowed interested

candidates to access these newly available positions.

"The MCC has sent a crucial notice regarding NEET PG Counselling 2023 that directly affects applicants who have resigned from their allotted seats. It states that people who have voluntarily resigned will be regarded as unable to engage in Round 3 of counselling, according to medical counsellors," said Anubhav Garg, Counsellor and Founder of TAB INDIA.

"This development emphasises how crucial it is to make thoughtful decisions during the counselling process because leaving a position might have long-lasting effects," he added.

"It serves as a reminder to applicants to think carefully and consult with professionals before making such an important decision. In order for the NEET PG Counselling 2023 process to continue to be active and changing, aspirant medical professionals must make well-informed decisions," he further added.
