The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) yesterday announced its results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. Panchkula boy Pranav Goyal secured the first rank by scoring 337 marks out of 360.
Kota's Sahil Jain was second, while Delhi's Kailash Gupta bagged the third spot. Kota's Meenal Parekh emerged as the topper among girls with
318 marks.
More than 1 lakh 50,000 students had appeared for the exam this year that was conducted on the 20th of last month, out of which 18,138 had qualified.
With results out now, seat allocation will commence from Friday. For the first time, JEE Advanced was held completely online.
