Andhra Pradesh schools and colleges will reopen from November 2 and classes will be conducted on alternative days flowing Covid-19 protocols. Arrangements across the state in educational institutions have started and authorities are ensuring measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The government extended the Unlock 5 guidelines till November 30 and schools in various states like Assam and Rajasthan are planning to reopen from November 2 under different rules.

State Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney on Thursday reviewed the situation explained the schedule of re-opening of the classes.

According to the chief secretary, classes for 9th, 10th, Intermediate



First Year (11th) and Intermediate Second Year (12th) will commence from November 2 and they will be held for half-day and on alternate days only.

All colleges for higher education will be started from November 2 and classes will be conducted in rotation method.

Classes for 6th, 7th and 8th standards will start from November 23. Classes will be held for half day only, and on alternate days only.

Classes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th standards will start from December 14. Classes will be held for half day only, and on alternate days only.

This schedule is applicable for all government and private educational institutes across the state.
