Schools, colleges in Delhi to remain closed till further orders: DDMA

Delhi schools and colleges are to remain closed till further orders are made by the government. In a review meeting, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has not taken up the matter to reopen schools and colleges in Delhi. 

However, DDMA has decided to relax some Covid-19 curbs in the capital.

DDMA has said that Delhi schools and colleges will continue



to remain closed till further orders. The discussion on reopening schools and colleges in Delhi will be decided in the next Covid-19 review meeting.

The Delhi schools and colleges closing announcement was made after the DDMA meeting which ended this afternoon. The government has decided to end the weekend curfew and odd-even system for shops as cases of Covid-19 slightly decrease in the city.
