Schools, colleges in UP to remain closed today

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, schools and colleges in some districts will remain closed today in the wake of heavy rain alert from the meteorological department. Weather drastically changed yesterday across the state and almost all districts received rainfall with gusty winds.

predicted heavy rains in some parts of Western Uttar Pradesh. Authorities in Meerut and Baghpat districts have closed all schools from class 1 to 12 today but examinations will be held as per the schedule. Some districts are receiving continuous rain since yesterday.
