Schools in Uttar Pradesh to remain closed till January 30

Uttar Pradesh schools will remain closed till January 30, 2022, in order to curb the spread of Covid-19 and Omicron. Earlier, schools and colleges were shut till January 16 and later were extended till January



23. 

However, due to the ongoing situation of the rising number of Covid-19 cases, the date has been further extended to January 30, 2022. Uttar Pradesh government has asked schools to continue with online classes.
