Hyderabad: Schools across Telangana have been reopened on Wednesday after being shut down in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sticking to special Covid-19 guidelines, school managements ensured that students followed physical distancing strictly, even inside the classroom. At the same time, virtual classes will continue for students who are unable to attend classes at schools.

A few schools also hosted

parent-teacher meetings too. Several enthusiastic students wearing masks were seen making a beeline for the schools. Excited over the resumption of physical classes, the children were happy to meet their friends after a gap of about 18 months. While several schools have welcomed the students back, a few have chosen to observe the situation and are continuing the online classes for another seven to 10 days.
