New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that all schools in Delhi will remain closed till further orders in view of rise in pollution level. However, he said, the examinations related to the board will conducted as per the pre-determined schedule.
The decision comes after Supreme Court pulled Delhi government for the reopening of schools and colleges amid high pollution level in the city. Earlier, the Delhi government ordered to
shut schools and colleges on 13th November but reopened those on 29th November.
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that the Delhi government is constantly monitoring the pollution situation. Rai announced that all schools, colleges, other educational and training institutes, coaching centre and libraries will be closed from Friday due to rise in pollution level in the city.
