The two-year long wait for State Eligibility Test (SET) notification finally came to an end on Thursday with the Osmania University announcing that the exam would be conducted on June 11.
Submission of applications is online and will begin from February 22. Last date for online submission without late fee is March 20 and with a late fee of Rs 1,500 plus registration fee it is till March 30. Candidates can also apply with late fee of Rs 2,000 till April 6, and Rs 3,000 (for Hyderabad centre only), till May 1.
The registration fee is Rs 1,000 for general category, for BC category it is Rs 800 and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PWD category.
Candidates can download hall tickets from May 20.The university has decided to take biometric details of the candidates who appear for the examination. This apart, the Aadhaar number has been made mandatory for applying for the examination.
“Candidates appearing for the examination will be given carbon copy of the OMR sheet and after releasing final results, OMR sheets of candidates will be placed on the website,” said Prof P Yadagiri Swamy, Member Secretary, TS-SET-2017.
The examination will be conducted in seven regional centres – Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal.
