Student unions call for education bandh in Telangana today

Student associations affiliated to the Left wing have called for a State-wide education bandh on Thursday in protest against the State government’s failure to implement the free KG-to-PG education system in Telangana schools from this academic



year. 

They also demanded that the State government come up with a legislation to streamline fees in schools and also launch a crackdown on the fleecing of parents by corporate schools in the form of hefty tuition fees.
