Students appearing in Class 10 exam to be provisionally admitted to 11th in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, students appearing in Class 10 examinations will be provisionally admitted to 11th immediately after conclusion of the board examinations. This is as per the new guidelines issued by the State School Education Department. The Department has restructured the existing examination system and the new one will help to increase class work days and save academic



year of the students.

As per an order, the students, who are declared unsuccessful in the results, shall be permitted to continue their studies in Class 11th till the results of the bi-annual examination are declared.

Provisional admission will be cancelled for those candidates who fail to pass the bi-annual examination.
