The Telangana State Council for Higher Education has announced on their website that the online lessons for Class 11 and 12 students will begin from August 17, 2020. The schools will remain closed in the state till August 31 as per the guidelines from the Home Ministry.

Apart from the online classes for higher standards, the TSCHE has also announced that the digital classes for classes 6 to 10 will also be conducted from August 20. For the rest of the classes, the lessons will begin



on September 1.

A lot of educational institutes are resorting to the usage of digital mediums for the conduction of classes. The Telangana government will be conducting the digital classes through Doordarshan and T-SAT network channels.

The council has also made the attendance of teachers mandatory to the tune of 50 percent from August 17. The admission for intermediate courses is also set to begin from September 1, as per the notification issued by the council.
