The Telangana Government has directed the directorate of public health and family welfare to recruit 432 vacancies of doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel for the primary health centres across the state.
The selection would be done through the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC). These posts would be filled in 54 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC). Each PHC would have a pharmacist, a lab technicians and four staff nurses. Each
PHC will have two assistant civil surgeons each.
As many as 108 civil assistant surgeons would be recruited through the DSC, while the remaining posts would be filled through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). According to a release, 108 vacancies of civil assistant surgeons, 216 staff nurses, 54 pharmacists and 54 lab technician posts would be filled.
