Warangal: A total of 19, 291 students have applied for Lawcet and PGLCET-2015, said the TS Lawcet-2015 convener Prof M V Ranga Rao. Released the Lawcet schedule at Kakatiya University in Hanamkonda on Friday, he said the common entrance examination for admission into three-year and five-year degree law course and two-year PG law course would be held on May 19.
The test would be held in the morning and evening sessions, respectively. The three-year and five-year degree course entrance would be held from 10 am to 11.30 am on May 19, while the entrance exam for LLM would be held from 2.30 pm to 4 pm, the same day. Lawcet would be conducted at 28 centres
across Telangana, while PGLCET would be held at two centres, namely Hyderabad and Warangal.
Four new centres, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Siddipet and Khammam were added this year. A total of 13,502 candidates registered for three year law entrance exam while 4,257 candidates for five year degree law entrance. For LLM entrance, 1,532 candidates registered.
Ranga Rao informed that there were 17 colleges offering 2,670 seats for LLB three year course, while there were 10 colleges offering 960 seats of five-year degree course in law. There were 11 colleges offering 545 LLM seats across the Telangana State.
