The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Telangana has announced the dates for the pending TS SSC (Class 10) Exams 2020. The pending class 10 board exams will be held from June 8. The schedule was released days after the Telangana High Court had given permission to hold exams. As per the new schedule, the TS SSC board exams will be held from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm; 15 extra minutes will be given to students to read the question paper. Education Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy announced that there will be a two- day gap after each paper as suggested by the high court.
The Telangana class 10 board exams will be held as per the government guidelines. To ensure social distancing in the exam hall, the board has reportedly increased the number of exam centres from 2,005 to 2,530. Students will be made to sit at a considerable distance. One student will sit on each bench in the exam hall. Students will be informed about their exam centres through their respective schools.
Every exam centre will be sanitised and the students will be provided
face masks. All candidates will be thermally screened before their entry into the exam centres. For candidates found to be suffering from fever, cold and cough, separate rooms would be providing for writing the exams.
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will operate special buses to ferry the students to their exam centres.

The state had conducted the exams for three papers of the first and second languages before March 22 as per the original timetable.
