As assured by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of providing five new medical colleges in the state, the officials of Telangana government will be arriving in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Ramagundam, Jangaon, Karimanagar and Khammam to explore the areas and prepare projects for the medical college construction.
The five proposed medical colleges will be providing 500
more MBBS seats in the state giving a boost to the educational and healthcare sector. Another two medical colleges set up in Suryapet and Nalgonda will add up 150 seats for the academic year 2019-2020.
According to officials, the government is aiming to offer 2000 medical seats in the coming years.
