The academic year for 2020-21 will start at the University of Telangana from 1 September and the teaching staff must prepare curricula for different types of courses, the university registrar Prof Naseem said here on Saturday.

She said that university colleges in the TU region, affiliated, supported, private colleges should follow the University Covid-19 norms for the 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th semester for graduation and postgraduate courses.

The registrar stated that classes in these semesters should be conducted through an online system and asked the principals to acquire the required technical system to start online classes, and academic staff



should be ready with the required curriculum to take online classes.

The registrar reported that the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has published guidelines for bucket systems for admission to Dost degrees and has divided them into different types by reviewing courses and CBCS curricula.  Prof.  Naseem said applicants BA, B.Com and B.Sc.  courses in Telugu, English, Hindi and Urdu medium and allocated 60 seats to each class.  When students choose the course, they also choose options for A, B, C, D groups;  different grade spot principles will follow the norms of four types of guidelines for the bucket system during admission.
