The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) is planning to announce new recruitment notifications commencing May.
As part of this exercise, the Commission is set to seek indents, including vacancies in different departments, from the State government for recruitment. The details will be processed in the month of April and notifications is set to be released in May.
The Commission intends to replicate the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) model, which recruits within a time frame.
The TGPSC plans to complete a two stage recruitment i.e., prelims and main exam in a maximum of one year. As for single stage recruitment, it has chalked
out a plan to conclude hiring in six to nine months.
Presently, Group – I, II and III, and CPDO among other recruitment exams processing is underway and TGPSC is set to release the Group – II preliminary key on January 10.
Further, the Commission, which is understaffed, is planning to go the UPSC way by handing over the certificates verification to the departments concerned.
Around 600 candidates applied for the 87 posts that were notified for recruitment in TGPSC under deputation from different government departments and the Commission will complete this process by Sankranti.
