The preparations are currently underway for the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Temple on January 22. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries from all walks of life. Around 100 officials from 55 countries, including ambassadors and MPs, will witness the Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha. Additionally, sages and saints from every state in India will also be a part of this program. In light of the mega event, the UP government has instructed security personnel to remain alert regarding security in Ayodhya. 

Several states have declared holidays for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration ceremony. Check the state-wise holiday list:

Public holiday in Uttar Pradesh
As per the order, all educational institutions and government offices will remain closed on January 22. CM Yogi has urged people to celebrate the day like Diwali in their respective cities or villages.

There will be a holiday in Goa as well
Similar to Uttar Pradesh, a public holiday has also been declared on January 22 in Goa. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, issued the order, citing the widespread enthusiasm in the country regarding the consecration of Ram Lalla. As a result, all government



offices and schools in Goa will observe a holiday, allowing people to celebrate this festival. Furthermore, the chief minister urged people to celebrate this special day with the same joy and enthusiasm as Diwali.

Holiday announced in Madhya Pradesh
The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, has also urged people in his state to celebrate a particular day as a festival. It has been declared that January 22 will be a public holiday in all government offices and schools in the state. Moreover, liquor and meat shops in the state will also remain closed as per the orders issued.

Holiday in Chhattisgarh 
The Chhattisgarh government also joined the states that announced a holiday on January 22. As part of the safety measures, the government has also ordered all government and private schools in the entire state to remain closed. This decision has generated a lot of excitement and anticipation among the people of Chhattisgarh.

Holiday in Haryana 
The government of Haryana has announced that all schools will remain closed until January 22. Furthermore, the consumption of liquor will not be permitted anywhere in the state on the day of the consecration ceremony.
