The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS Ed-CET-2019) will be held on May 31, the application process of which will commence on February 28. The test will be conducted in 11 regional centres, including two in Andhra Pradesh – Vijayawada and Kurnool — and the results will be declared on June 15.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) took this decision at the first test committee meeting here here on Thursday. A detailed notification on EdCET would be issued on February 25 and the process would conclude on April 10. This year
too, the examination will be held online. The exam will be held in two slots – 11 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm.
This year too, Osmania University will conduct the test.
General category students will have to pay an exam fee of Rs 650 and for SC/ST category students, the fee is Rs 450. The last date for submission of online applications with a late fee of Rs 500 is April 20, for Rs 1,000 it is April 30 and Rs 2,000 is May 4.
Last year, 32,330 students had appeared for EdCET and 30,606 had qualified.
