Hyderabad: The Telangana Government
has decided to give age relaxation of three years for the aspirants of police
jobs in the State.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao
has signed the relevant files on Sunday. Following relaxation, the age limit
for the post of constables in general category will be 25 years while it would
be 30 years for candidates belong to ST, ST and BC communities. Similarly, the
age limit for Sub-Inspectors post will be 28 years for
general category and 33
years for reserved category candidates.
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to strengthen the Police Communications Department. He said of 335 posts allotted to Telangana at the time of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, as many as 332 were vacant. He issued directions for filling up all vacant posts in a single take. He said that the recruitments were being done in the police department after a gap of 12 years.
