As many as 4,285 MBA and MCA seats have remained vacant after final phase of web counselling of Telangana State-Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS-ICET).
Among the vacant seats, 4,070 alone were in MBA programme and 215 in MCA course. The Commissionerate of Technical Education on Wednesday released seat allotment orders for the candidates who participated in the final phase of TS-ICET web counselling. A total of 18,364 seats were allotted out of 22,434 available seats in 276 MBA colleges. Similarly, 1,740 out of 1,955
in-take in 37 MCA colleges were allotted to students. The Commissionerate, in a press release, said 184 colleges got 100 per cent admissions and one college did not attract a single student this year.
Candidates who received seat allotment order should self-report through the website https://tsicet.nic.in, pay the fee, report at the allotted college on or before August 31. The allotted seat will be cancelled if the candidate fails to report or pay the fee before the due date.
