Hyderabad: About 92.21 per cent out of 1,21,422 candidates who appeared for the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (Polycet) have qualified.
In this entrance test, girls secured higher pass percentage than boys. About 94.31 per cent girls qualified out of 47,918 who appeared, whereas 74,224 boys appeared and 90.94 per cent passed.
Seven candidates
scored 120 out of 120 and secured first rank. Likewise, eight candidates scored 119 out of 120 marks and bagged eighth rank.
The results of the Polycet 2018 were announced by Navin Mittal, Commissioner of Technical Education, here on Tuesday.Navin said a notification for counselling would be released in a couple of days.
