All arrangements have been completed for conducting the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) (Theory) in 819 centres across the State from May 14 to 22.

The examinations for paper-I (Inter 1st year) will be held from 8.45 am to 12 noon while paper II (Inter 2nd year) from 2.15 pm to 5.30 pm. A total number of 4,20,549 candidates are appearing for the advanced supplementary exams.

Speaking to the media persons here on Friday, A Ashok, Secretary of Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) said that necessary measures have been taken for the effective conduct of theory examinations.

“About 819 chief superintendents and departmental officers each



have been appointed and 8,420 invigilators will be in place for the examinations”, he said.

Board officials said that 50 flying squads comprising members of education, police and revenue departments and 200 sitting squads were arranged to prevent malpractice in examination centres. RTC authorities were requested to make transport arrangements, officials said.

Candidates appearing for supplementary examinations were instructed to occupy their seats prior to the exam time as they were given 15 minutes grace period from 8.45 am to 9 am/2.15 pm to 2.30 pm. “The candidates will not be allowed into the centre after 9 am/2.30 pm.”, Ashok added.
