The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Thurday has withdrawn nine notifications pertaining to recruitment of various categories of posts in Residential Educational Institutions Societies.
The decision to withdraw notification was taken in view of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao recently directing officials to change the eligibility criteria for recruitment of teachers
for residential educational institutions.
Rao wanted minimum qualifying marks of 60 per cent to be removed and as per National Council for Teacher Education guidelines, candidates with minimum 50 per cent marks in degree examination be allowed to apply for the posts.The Chief Minister also asked officials to do away with minimum three year teaching experience.
