UGC NET 2018: Registration for December 2018 exam begins; apply at ntanet.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begin registrations for the UGC NET December 2018 exams. Candidates who want to apply can register at ntanet.nic.in. The NTA has taken over from the CBSE for conducting the UGC NET examination from this year. The exam will be held from December 9 to 23 in two shifts. From this year, NET will be conducted twice a year, the first one from December and the second will be conducted on July 2019.

Below are the steps to register for the UGC NET

Step 1: Visit the official website- https://ntanet.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Fill Application

Step 3: Click on Sign in with Google, Continue with Facebook or Mobile Login

Step 4: Fill the application form, pay fee and complete the application process

Step 5: Download confirmation page or take a printout for further reference

Meanwhile, the admit cards will be available from November 19 and the result will be released on January 10, 2019. The examination is conducted every year to fill up the post of assistant professor and junior research fellowship. The UGC NET December exam will be computer-based and the candidates will have to attempt two objective-type papers.
