The Rajasthan government has announced that the schools in the state will remain closed till November 16, as per the guidelines issued for Unlock 6 on November 1. The colleges, universities, and coaching institutes in the state will be following the same guidelines.
Apart from the closure of educational institutes in the state, the Rajasthan government has also announced that swimming pools, cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes, entertainment parks, and similar places will remain closed in the state till
November 30.
As per previous guidelines issued by the state government, the schools in Rajasthan were supposed to reopen from November 2 for students of classes 9 to 12. Preparations were being made for the same and the SOPs had been issued by the education department.
A proposal for the reopening of schools from November 2 was submitted to the government by the State Education Department. The proposal for the reopening of schools for senior classes was then rejected by the state government.
